Gypsum Spreading

In addition to fertilizer spreading and lime spreading, we also offer gypsum spreading. Gypsum helps soil better absorb water and reduces erosion. It also cuts down on phosphorus movement from soils to lakes and streams and improves the quality of various fruits and vegetables, among other benefits.

Improving Yield and Crop Health

Gypsum is a good source of both calcium and sulfur, which crops need for good yields. The chemical formula of gypsum makes those nutrients more available to plants than other common sources.

Helping Increase Root Depth

Another benefit of gypsum for soil is that its moderate solubility allows calcium and other nutrients to penetrate deeper into the ground, causing plants to take root deeper. This provides them more water and nutrients.
